We had one at the old Fairgrounds Motor Speedway in Louisville. Speedy Adams was the driver, I believe. Real name was Reese Dickson. Used the alias because he was a deputy sheriff. I love the hearts on the headlight covers on this one.

Are you sure this is Atlanta ? It very much looks like Dayton Speedway and the official shown in the MARC jacket is very familiar as an ARCA official later on. I know Indy will remember his name. Also, if it is ARCA, Brian Norton may weigh in with some more information.Steve

For a while in the early part of this past decade I used this photo, paneled, as my desktop wallpaper. I'll have to see if I can find a screencap I did back then! Wasn't able to figure out the driver, but I'm sure it's not NASCAR. (Not Grand National, anyway).

Two other drivers used Edsels in NASCAR that I know of: Scott Sandman (Pittsburgh, 1959) and Mike Saathoff (Hanford CA, 1961). It might be just a coincidence, but Sandman used the #26.
