We called Bill the "Mouth of the South" before NASCAR gave him a prestigous name like "Voice of the Speedway". What ever you called him, it always meant friend. He was Master of Ceremonies at Billy's Racing Retirement Banquet in 1999.

That,s true Max, both in Nascar and other Racing events. He is also missed in radio and TV. Not to mention the racing movies he was in. He Emceed Billy's Racing Retirement Banquet and was excellent. We will always miss him.Billy and Barbara
