Johnson City, TN's historic Sportsman Speedway no longer exists, being replaced by a bowling alley. Judging by the shape and curvature of the adjacent street, this orientation could depict the track's original lay-out.
Ya, the track was to the West and North of where you show it, near where Industrial Drive starts on your map. I have a friend that has a car lot near where the track was, the lot shown in the bottom left of your map. He ran the concession stand at several of the local tracks around the tri-cities area.
The concession stand in the pits at Sportsman Speedway had the best ham sandwiches!! I never missed a ham sandwich on Saturday night!Paul Ghost 32
