Richard "Rit" Patchin Championship winning NASCAR Modified
This is an original 1978 Troyer Modified that "Rit" Patchin took to the Track Championship at the Danbury Fairgrounds in 1981. This was the last year the track was in existance. The following year it was demolished and a shopping mall now resides on the property. This car has an extensive history and includes the R.o.C. at Pocono in 1979 (long track) and 1980 (short track). I am gathering history regarding the car and am planning to meet with "Rit" in the early spring to get and in depth interview.
