The Roush boys were victims of tandem racing, thinking you can only win if someone pushes you to the finish. The 17 tried to back up to the 16 and the 14 held it to the floor.
When the 17 let off to get back with the 16 they all went bump in the night and that was all she wrote.They finished 3rd and 21st instead of 1 and 2. I agree with Dennis here.
