On Sept 17 you are invited to come to watch a test to insure that these car will put on a competitive show for the public.
Frank Kimmel will have 10 to 15 cars there to show officials they can draw a crowd --- another plus it seems ..
How can I get more information about this Johnny? Like admission prices, times, etc.? Is this something RR should promote since it's Frank Kimmel? I would like to know more. First time I've heard anything about this.
I'd venture it'll be the Frank Kimmel street stocks.........they've been running at the Rock for a while now.

Darlington Test
We have confirmed a test date for Darlington on Sept 17th. This is an invitation only test. We have confirmed 10 cars that will be attending the test that I think will give a good representation of our series. Anyone that is in the area that would like to come watch is invited to come by. We are doing this to show the speedway that our cars will put on a great show for the fans. What a great opportunity this would be for our series to run DARLINGTON!!!!
I received an invitation to come and run August 8th-11th at "Race The Rock" which is I guess a vintage event. My invite came from/thru Vintage Oval Magazine. The way it looks is there will be a Vintage event and we would get to take the track on Sat. and Sunday twice a day for a specific amount of time. The way I read it, I guess the cars will be grouped by speed capability. There is some info found at www.svra.com . the number listed on my info was 805-329-7485..I don't know about the Kimmel event but as Bobby said it will be for His HEW street stocks prob.
I've seen them run at Rockingham. There is no doubt they can put on a good show.
Need to listen to STARS more we have talked about it several times...lol
I am in Pocono and will be seeing Frank on Thursday and Friday next week, I will get the scoop right from the man himself. Will post next weekend what i find out.
