Rockingham Speedway: Light at the end of the tunnel?

Racers have always loved a challenge and this would certainly be one based on those Rockingham photos we saw a few months back.
Here's a link to the other story about the Rockingham track that appeared in the Richmond County Journal on the same date telling of the bank washing its hands of the property:

Things didn't sound particularly rosy between parties Andy Hillenburg and Billy Silas.
Check out the house of Billy Ray Silas in Stuart, Florida, the individual to whom the bank passed the Rockingham property via BK Holdings. Looks like you could run a pretty good race inside that place.

For sure...........".Friday, the Daily Journal discovered the bank assigned the lien to BK Rock Holdings, a limited liability company based in Stuart, Florida.
Records show the managing agent of the company to be Alan I. Armour II, an attorney who represented Silas last year. The companys address is also the same as Palm Beach Grading, a business founded by Silas in 1996." Mr. Silas was Andy Hillenberg's co-Rock- partner. Anyway, Farmers & Merchants Bank is out.....selling the lien to BK Rock Holdings. Hmmm. Be a streatch for the "Super Cup Stock Car Series" to pull the old track out of the woods too. Maybe the Rock can re-capture the NASCAR-Truck date.
I wouldn't put much stock in Billy Ray Silas's plans to return the Rock to racing. After all, he is the one who saddled us with Achy Breaky Heart and Hannah Montana. Wait. What? Ohhhh SILAS. Got it. Never mind.
Still, if you think racing is coming back to the Rock, I'm afraid you'll continue to have an achy breaky heart.
Just how many of these types of business 'tycoons' has NASCAR attracted over the years? And after making a grand and glorious entrance, how many stayed for the long haul? The media always does a TV segment featuring Mr. Big Wigg, who always says something like........."well, you know, NASCAR racing promotes and projects, BIG-WIGG Industries to our clientele, perfectly.........we hope this is the start of a long standing 'partnership'......and blah, blah, blah.........."
If Mr. Silas has the strong desire to field a competitive truck series entry and a Nascar track owner, he won't be the first multi-million dollar investor to be come a millionaire.
Is that a play of words?
Hope they race and I can go
