Dale Jr Holding Off Danica's Advances -- For Now

Danica Patrick has brought many new fans into NASCAR, People who have never seen a NASCAR race before are now tuning in to cheer for Danica and the No. 10 Chevrolet. She has the fastest growing fan base in all of NASCAR

Patrick won the Most Popular Driver Award in the Nationwide Series for 2012. She is already appealing to fans to vote her into the Sprint All Star Race for 2013.

But she isnt as popular as Jr is---yet some say. Jr is very proud of his awards, said its almost like a christmas present.

Should either driver score a race win that will surely drive more fans to vote for them, so in reality winning counts, even in a popularity contest. that is unless Tim Leeming gets into the running

Tim Leeming doesn't have a chance in a popularity contest.

We might enter Legend incognito, minus hat, shades and boots and see if he gets any votes!

Just think of it this way--Tim Leeming and Jeff Gilder coming back out,both have the same problem -- George Straight sang a song about the chair ----their problem is ---- -the W I N D O W !!

lol, you got that right Johnny. The super late model I drove recently at New Smyrna had the smallest window I ever saw and they had to change the steering wheel twice because it was rubbing on my belts.

without the shades,hat and boots he wouldn't be THE LEGEND.....still gets my vote also...

I don't hold a grudge, but some people do....and they spread it around...so, I could never win a popularity contest.
