Boy those guys sure had a ball sat nite,if you listened to the in car communications. Seems as though the sailors over in turn four were blushing several times while listening to their in car radios.

N O W you and I know when you got somebody beating and framing on you for a few laps you kinda get fired up at him especially if its a front position you are defending. Tim Leeming and myself didnt have in car radios in our heyday so we hollered as loud as possible at each other and a few others too. Dont believe me? Ask Tim about in Mrytle Beach when we were tangling up regular--he was hoarse from hollering at me after that race. But we remained civil in public eye ( I think).

So are our golden boys pushing the envelope on radio chatter? They were kinda chatty Sat nite. Should there be a line drawn or should a disclaimer be attached to every ticket sold saying not responsible for what you hear on the radio.

Some of you intellectual folks answer this one. I cant

Johnny, I'm no intellectual, but if some are offended, turn the ******! scanner off. Supposed to private conversations anyway.

Johnny, you and I had "sign language" that worked quite well. Oh, and your post here is interesting because it is a part of what I am planning for the upcoming Legendtorial on Tuesday, if there is still a segment for a Legendtorial.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

I think it is. I agree with you Johnny. I'm going to wait until after Tuesday night's Legendtorial to say how I really feel about this. Can't wait to hear what the Legend has to say.

Radio communication between driver and team should be private, period. Shouldn't be available to public OR NASCAR. Nobody's business but driver and team. Next thing, we'll have fans and NASCAR wanting to sit in on driver/team/sponsor contract negotiations. The line needs to be drawn somewhere. What do you think Richard said when David lifted in front of him at the close of that Daytona Firecracker 400 to set him up for the winning slingshot pass? Probably the same thing he said when he was bumping and framming thatroadhog on I-85 a few years back. BUT, his comments didn't need to be broadcast publicly.I particularly remember a 1982 Martinsville race when Bud Moore had cautioned Dale Earnhardt on the virtues of patience at Martinsville and how the race couldn't be won on the first lap. We were pitted on the backstretch to take advantage of Bud's superfast crew on yellow flag pit stops. By the time Dale got to the backstretch after taking the initial green flag and negotiating turns 1 and 2, his front bumber was a mess. What Bud yelled to Ironhead on the radio started with the word "Boy", but you couldn't print the rest of it. And nobody needed to hear it either. That was between Bud and Dale.

Anyone hear what Kurt Busch said? He went off on Penske and the whole team now that was not right.
