He will have doors open for him. If Tony don't want him, I bet many teams are making calls already.

Ok, this is what I heard, unofficially of course. Darian has the young son Tony kept Mike Helton waiting for and it is my understanding that Darian was on the road too much and wanted to leave the crew chief job behind. I think I could see that last night. Not putting out rumors here, just trying to understand the most logical answer.

Thanks, Tim. My understanding from what I read was that Darian confirmed last night that Tony had told him this past summer he wouldn't be returning after this season. Whatever, the run of 5 wins in 10 Chase races was spectacular.
