Need a Translator? I can help... maybe

Current NASCAR

They need to keep it simple. I don't know how they expect today's ADD generation to even bother to understand these new complicated formats. They just need to shorten the races and return everything to the way it was before the chase, format-wise anyway. People like to just tune in and watch a flag to flag race but today everyone has less time so just reduce the distances drastically.

Who is the greatest race car driver of all time?

General

For me, it's Mario Andretti purely for the versatility aspect. I'm sure there are many others with more pure, raw talent but I feel that switching across disciplines is a tougher challenge as there is a mental aspect to that and Mario seamlessly switched disciplines and did it in championship winning form. Foyt is also the same but Mario clinches it for me because of winning the F1 world title.

NASCAR AT INDY? LET'S GET REAL FOR A MOMENT

Current NASCAR

The NASCAR at Indy situation is like being unable to let go of your ex. You and everyone else knows it's not working but you continue to stick at it, hoping for a return of the brief spark that lit up the initial phase of a mostly tepid relationship.

Well the west coast swing was a Smoking Success

Current NASCAR

It was hard not to root for Stewart at the end there seeing his dad there. He raised and supported him so well on racing, it's great to see the old man so pumped up and emotional about his son in his final season at the top level. Stewart can be a real hypocrite and a dick at times but he is for me the definition of RACER.

HEY NASCAR, IS IT REALLY AS COMPLICATED AS YOUR PEA BRAINS MAKE IT?

Current NASCAR

Amen Tim. They need to look at how the cars were until the 80s and take cues. I'm no engineer but I'm dead sure they need to get the noses up off the ground. It takes clean airflow to get the nose/splitter pinned down like that and it's plain as day that once you get behind a car, out goes that clean air and the nose starts to raise and push, wearing the front tires and so it starts.

Rumors about A Legend-ary Member

General

LOL Tim. Kenseth can sneak up on people in narrow, dark places no problem when he jumped on Brad after navigating in the space between haulers so tackling ISIS should be a cinch.

Some may take offense to this ------BUT

Current NASCAR

Amen Tim, I can't believe this drivel either.

Matt put himself in prime position to get dumped with his dirty blocking TWICE and he got what he deserved and he knows it. That should have been the end of it.

Go Daddy is GONE Daddy

Current NASCAR

Gotta love the old days. Jumping from a Porsche 917 Le Mans car to a stock car and finishing 13th in the Daytona 500. He ran a few more races too. Think he enjoyed the taxicabs.
