RacersReunion® is a Registered Trademark

Just FYI.....whenever one writes the name of our organization, it is preferred that it be written according to the trademark that is registered with the U.S.Patent and Trademark office. That proper representation is done without an apostrophe and without a space between the two words and with the registration mark () whenever possible.... RacersReunion.

To make the registration mark, hold down the ALT key and type 0174. In some cases...like in Microsoft Word the mark can be made by holding down CTL and ALT while typing R.

That's it for today's lesson. have a great day!

Me neither, Jim. This whole deal over the past 4 years has been very painful. When we launched RacersReunion.com, I could barely use my email.

I get the hint Jeff, no more the abbreviated RR.com, from now on it's RacersReunion

LOl...no. I'm ok with that. I'm more concerned (and concerned is not the right word) about Racer's Reunion. That is not us. Anytime we put our name on something it has to be RacersReunion...unless we are writing the web domain...RacersReunion.com.

Stupid me... every time I try to use the circle R copyright sign in a post on this site using the ALT command and 0174 I immediately get some kind of pop up blocker stopping me. Typical of my ignorance. But, I certainly get the using the copyrighted name correctly and refraining from using someone else's name.

PK, it's a firefox thing. Every time I click on one deal, it gives me another.

Registered? As in AKC registered. I'm tying to do the circle r but keep getting the pop up blocker too. So does Ann. And we're on Internet Explorer but I guess it could be our security protection. Oh, "AKC"? American Kiddie Cars.

What a change! It's been awhile since I've checked in and I'm quite surprised. It may take me awhile to figure it our but first look it's really great.

A little box pops up and says "pop-up blocked".

That's what I did initially, but still doesn't let me do the ALT 0174. Now I get no message, just nothing happens when I try to type that. And, when I click my orange Mozilla Firefox symbol at top left, the only things I get in the drop down box are Restore, Move, Size, Minimize, Maximize and Close.... NO Options.

I think I better leave well enough alone. Thanks for trying to help.

You can also use the Character Map feature on laptops when just pressing "Alt" 0174 doesn't work.
