- It's game on for Danica Patrick, JR Motorsports and GoDaddy.com.Patrick will announce her intention to drive for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2010 at the Plaza Rotunda at Chase Field on Tuesday.As i reported last month, Patrick will make her stock car debut during the Dec. 18-20 ARCA test at Daytona International Speedway in preparation for the ARCA season opener on Feb. 7. Tony Eury Jr. is expected to be Patrick's crew chief.

It just goes to show Johnny that with big bucks behind you it's possible to do whatever you want in racing these days. She has no experience in BIG cars, but will get the usual youth learning curve of logging laps with 'training wheels" like so many other no talent drivers who have sponsorship money behind them. Asscar needs a PR boost so enter Danicaaaaaa. She'll get in the way and whine like she does in Indycar and have the cameras and press following everything she does...just what France wants to get attention. I'm all for talented experienced drivers getting rides in Nascar but this is strictly PR for a dying organization. The positive is like Robbie says... at least she's out of Indycar!! Now we can enjoy that and not hear her name anymore (I hope).Pete

I think she will do just fine. I have heard on Pit Lane callers complaining the she has not paid her dues in motorsports. She has come up through the ranks in Europe in order to get a ride in F1, open wheel when was 16. Understandable it was not through a Modified then on to ARCA and so, but she has the seat time to get where she is today. She will be better and in sooner time than Montoya, for the simple fact she will not bring alone the I am better than you attuide as he did when he came over from IRL.
