The New Years Day Races in the early 50s were famous, but cold as Hell.

This is great!! I'll be listening for sure. The ghost of Peace Haven Speedway will be out tomorrow night with the phantom sounds of 40 flying coupes!

Bobby, I really enjoyed the show! Yes, the Flickr pages are mine. I grew up near the site of the speedway and never knew about it until last year, so I had to dig up the history. I spent a lot of time at the library and on the phone, and really had a blast doing the research. All the research you've done on so many tracks is a real inspiration, too.I'd really like to have a copy of that article you read on Peace Haven about it being a motorcycle track in the early '40s. It mentioned Paul Burke and the Burke family. I talked to Mr. Burke and he's a really nice man. He still lives near the site of the track. Can you make me a copy of that article?
