Dink Widenhouse was as good as there was on dirt for many years and was a top driver in his own car as well as famed builder Marion Cox. Widenhouse was planted into the wall by Ralph Earnhardt at Columbia and when he walked back to the pits, he informed Cox that he was hanging it up as a driver, and he did.
