About L.D. Remeber the first race of the LMS season at Riverside, California? L.D. came with a nova like this and sat on the pole, next to him was Ivan Baldwin in his home built 66 Chevelle. Have to give to L.D. he worked on his road course racing and got better with trips to Riverside BUT LMS did not run ay road courses on the east coast, what a shame, Stockers on a road course are neat. About the race, L.D. was blowing away the field till he broke a sway bar and \then Ivan drove away with it, Ivan was a GREAT car builder, designer and driver, just goes to show you the memories that NASCAR LMS has given to me and a lot of other people.

THANK YOU works both ways Jeff! Ivan Baldwin even though from California was a hero of mine, He drove at Daytona in the 300 about 4 times but in 75 he led about 5 laps and finished 4th, the amazing thing he drove his home built 66 chevelle which shocked everyone. I have many memories a that i might be able to help you with just contact me i will help as much as i can! What amazed us was that we used a 66 Chevelle in the limited sportsman division at Beltsville and Manasas
