I would like to see someone do a LMS Grand Prix like they ran in the 80's, then I wouldn't mind making a sheet with #16, #11, #12, #95 and so on, I could get 7 or 8 on a sheet because these cars didn't have much on them.

I have built a Lindley car out of one of those and it looks OK but it still has the flared fenders and still looks more like a cup car. If a LMS one was made, the sides would have to stay flat and mold the hood on solid because it would be so thin at the top of the front fender wells that it would break very easily

Do any of you guys know a guy from Louisiana who builds models. I talked to Ronnie Thomas yesterday. He and his father, Jabe were driving to Bristol to meet this guy to exchange info. He is building a pit road model from Charlotte , 1970...( I think)for the new NASCAR Hall of Fame going up in Charlotte.

The guy that I was at J.B.'s with, Buford Wilburn, is a member of the South Carolina Modelers Association. He and a few others built all of the Southern 500 winners cars that are on display in the museum at Darlington. If a group are building a display for the HOF I would be interested in donating all of the wheels and tires for the project. My model car parts cover 1957-1975. I don't do anything current because all of the kits for todays racecars have all of the parts in the kits. Please find what era this project will consist of because I would like to help.

Didn't Bobby Allison buy this ride from Butch due to him crashing his car at Richmond in Feb 1981??
