I've heard Lynda Petty say Richard told her he'd quit when he stopped having fun. After this wreck, she supposedly went to the infield care center and asked him "well, are we still having fun?"

yeah remember next race at richmond va he finish 3 place and i live norfolk va to richmond va take 1 half hour ride there
