Tommy Bostick was serious competition, back in the day. The Bostick team not only drove ex-Ned Jarrett race cars, they had the ex-Ned Jarrett/Bondy Long cab-over hauler. Unprecedented at the time, and very effective pre-race imtimidation.Noticing the rundown from the jalopy division, 2nd place finisher, Lee Edwards, would go on to become a potent late model racer himself. Edwards raced well into the 70's (maybe longer).
