Is there a way to search within subsets of the site as we had at the old joint? When I click the magnifying glass and entered a search term, I get a sampling from all areas from across the site - photos, posts, videos, groups, members. For example, I want to be able to search just within photos AND have the results return more than the 4 pics I'm currently getting.
Looks like tags for photos and forum posts didn't transfer from the Ning site to the new one. As a test, I tried to add multiple tags to one of my photos. After adding the first one, the site had me wait 1 minute before adding another. Any reason for this delay? I find multiple tags help with searches. Yet I don't plan to wait 1 minute between each tag I want to add. Thanks.
On Wednesday, December 13, 1967, at Yarborough's Restaurant in Lexington, NC, Bruce Hayes of Hayes Jewelers recognized the championship-winning Petty Enterprises crew with the inaugural Landmark Diamond Achievement Award.
Maurice Petty was formally presented a plaque for the achievement. Interestingly, Chief was acknowledged as the head of the team vs. Kenneth D. Inman (known to most as Dale). The King presented each crewman a smaller, replica trophy for their contributions to the team.
I haven't found any clippings to indicate if there was ever a second or beyond award in subsequent years.
Dale Jr is coming back!
NASCAR brass and fans: Whoo hoo!
PepsiCo: Well, just one reminder. We sponsor Dale Jr with our Mountain Dew product. He will not be allowed to promote Monster Energy.
Brian France: Wait. Whaaattt?
Dale Jr: DOH. Forgot about that. Oh this is giving me a major headache.
Good call. Curiosity got the best of me. Went to Nashville library at lunch today and crawled through microfilm.
Over at Stock Car RacersReunion today, Tim Leeming started a post about the July 25, 1965 Bristol Grand National race.

It was Richard Petty's first GN race since NASCAR and Chyrsler reconciled their differences. But Petty also had a commitment that same weekend to run drags in Nashville. He flew multiple times between Nashville and Bristol to hit both events.
As a Petty fan lifer, now I'm trying to figure out WHERE he raced in Nashville. Could it have been at Union Hill near Ridgetop? Or perhaps at a track I didn't even know existed until this afternoon: RIverside Raceway just beyond west Nashville? Curious if anyone here might know.
First bene of joining DRR tonight. Not sure I'd know about the release of this movie without seeing your post. Have watched other trailers and am now jazzed about seeing this thing.
