Kudos to Langley and his team. One of the most hipocritical things about short track racing over the last decade plus has been the one-sided revenue stream. Many tracks now require the racers to pay for their pit entry, tire bill, and fuel bill with either cash or credit card....don't even think about asking THEM to take a check, yet they then tell the racer that they will receive that nights purse via the US Mail, they will receive it in 2-3 weeks....and you guessed it.....it will be a check.

Dave, it was three track championships that Roy won in 1983. He was also the track champion at South Boston Speedway in addition to Southside and Orange County. To the best of my recollection, Roy is still the only driver to win 3 NASCAR Weekly Racing Series feature division championships, at 3 different speedways,in a single season.

I would feel pretty comfortable in saying this is NOT the entry list for this years event, rather it is one from a couple of years ago. I highly doubt Sliced Bread will be in a Toyota sponsored by Home Depot....I expect Ford and Pennzoil would not look too kindly upon that...not to mention Matt Kenseth might not go for that sponsorship arrangement either.
