How much for the car mister?

General

I have learned that it is neat to have several unpampered cars in my yard. I have had many over the years.I understand that most cars in yards all over this country may rust away to nothing or become a soup can some day. For me "a car guy" I love to own them, look at them, dream about restoring them, hope someday make the big BJ bucks. There is something special about owning a project car. Dreams keep people going even if they are stricken with health issues or they just don't have the funds to invest in the project. Orthey think maybe they will win the lottery someday and pay to get it restored. I think that's what a lot of the car in the yard people think. They just like to own them and like having them around like an old family member. When my grandpa moved in with us years ago he was old and in bad shape but it was cool to have him there. There are plenty of cars out there that can be bought on ebay, Auto trader and many other papers and sites. When you see a car in a yard it's fun to stop and maybe it can be bought but try not to getupset with the owner if he wants to keep it around it just might mean as much to him in the state it's in as it does to you restored. Gilder Replaced At BJR

Vintage Oval and Road Course Racing

To start out I would like to say that if that preacher from Nashville would have been there that night he would have covered every possible issue with the driver, the car, and crew in his prayer. Everything would have been fine. That being said I would like to add to my other statement that I posted earlier, at least I think I posted it? Maybe not. Probably not. The race was awesome! full of action to say the least but if you would have followed the master B to the track you would have seen the real show. He drove his tow rig over the RR tracks faster onthe way to the track then any racecar did in the race. Chains and binders were flying everywhere. They never stopped and headed right for the chicken joint. We stopped and picked up the dabree in the roadway and met up with them when they loaded up about 1800 lbs of Chicken in the back of the truck to feed everyone in the pits. That's just the way Karen and BB do it.I talked to Jeff at the track and he told me that he was a little loose getting in and tight getting out. Later he admitted he was talking about his driving suitand not the car.Oh and that he meant it was tight getting in it andthat things were loose when he got out of it. For the little bit of time Jeff spent on the track I thought he did great! I don't understand how he lost the ride. He did everything great drivers do. Hit walls drive on the highside, lowside whatever? Tell the crew chief it's the cars falt but ne never gave up never. Matter of fact he's still trying to get out of that driving suit. That damm chichen! lol W

Cale said on national TV that if Mr H offrered him a ride in oneof his cars he would drive it.If you get some good seat time in the go-kart maybe Mr. H will give you a shot. Give it a little more thoughtbefore you put your helmet on the shelf.I know you can run up near the fence! Jeff does, Oh! I guess he tried but the fence wasn't there, and he ?,,,,,,,,, well he went over the hill! But hey! He made a come back and hit the fence later! OOPS! LOL W
