A big thank you to everyone who attended. I saw Tim and Leon out there and if I missed anyone I apologize. I earned a ton of respect from my hero and the one whom taught me a great deal about this business Mr. Jeff Gilder this was a lot of work on "show day" And Jeff you were surely missed.

Our show was a big success because of a bunch of great people who help put this event together.

• We estimate that we had 2500 people attend based off of our Fan's choice award votes.
• We also had 15 food and craft vendors.
• We had 54 beautiful show cars, truck and motorcycles in attendance.
• We made asubstantialprofit especially for a 1st year event.
• Most importantly we made our little town of South Congaree shine!

Thanks to everyone who help promote and supported this event. Look for events in the future.

1 Dead, 9 Injured in Lightning Strike at NASCAR Race

LONG POND, Pa. (AP) - A lightning strike in the parking lot at Pocono Raceway after a NASCAR race Sunday killed one person and injured nine others, racetrack officials said.

It wasn't immediately clear if all 10 people were actually struck by lightning in the parking lot behind the grandstand, nor was it known whether one or multiple strikes occurred.

Two people were taken to the hospital in critical condition after the strike, racetrack officials said. President Brandon Igdalsky said one of them later died at Pocono Medical Center, but he provided no further details.

"Unfortunately, a member of our raceway family here, a fan, has passed away," he said.

One person remained hospitalized in critical condition at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, said Bob Pleban, a track spokesman. The other five people were taken to various hospitals with minor to moderate injuries, he said.

The race was called because of rain, with 98 of the 160 scheduled laps completed. The track posted warnings on its Twitter page near the end of the race encouraging fans to "seek shelter as severe lightning and heavy winds are in our area."

AJ Allmendinger tested positive for amphetamines.

Brand names of medications that contain or metabolize into amphetamines include Adderall, Dexedrine, Dextrostat, Desoxyn, Didrex, ProCentra and Vyvanse. Probably Adderall as this is used by many in the racing world. My source says Dinger did not have a prescription though

I agree with BB about it looks like a Howe Chassis. I did notice the HRE hubs which could be Hedgecock. I sent an email to Jay to see if he can help id the chassis.
