Yes, Billy McGinnis did drive the Gallo wine car at Middle Georgia Raceway. I talked to Billy last year at Gresham Motorsports Park about some photos of the car. He said he had some, but getting them might be a problem. Sonny phone678-672-8028

Billy did drive the car at MGR for a few weeks. Maybe Billy has some photos. He still lives in Shakerage ,Ga.and usually goes to Gresham when they run. I am going this weekend and will try to ask him. I also think Ronnie Saunders drove the car a few times. Sonny See ya,ll next weekend.

If I win the lottery it would be great to get the old track going again.With all the new building around the area I really belive you could get the local support needed to run big events. Great to see all fans come out for the show.I saw alot of friends from many years back and had a great time. Many thanks to all the hard work put in by all the volunters and sponsors.Even got to sign a few autographs. What a thrill to bring back all the great times.Hope to see all again soon. Sonny

Just to let you know the video on your website and Youtube is of me. I wrecked my racecar at Middle GA Raceway on April 29th 1977 it broke both of my legs (femar bones) and my left arm. What Johnny says is true it took 45 minuets to cut me out of the car. I have pictures of the wreck as well as scars. What you do not know is that I proposed to my wife of 33 years on that night we got married on July 23rd 1977 and our daughter was born on Aug 31, 1979. She has posted with her husband on youtube. I will be happy to send you copies of the wrecked car. And I believe that the photo person at the track that night took pictures as will. It was quite a shock to see this on your website as most folks would not have known anything about this.
If there is a reuion at Middle GA I would love to come.
