And, if we keep this up, you and I will not be allowed to stay in ANY motels in the country and certainly will be barred from all Zippy Marts.

India may be a very progressive country, Wally, but there are still no Longhorn Restaurants there and that sort of leaves out that option for my relocation should political fortunes not go my way in 2012.

The issue here is that cows are scared to a certain religion practiced predominantly in India. That's why there are no Longhorn Steak Houses there.

Will Charlotte's NO GREASE BARBERSHOP Co-Sponsor Talladega & Daytona Races?

General

And I thought "Talladega Nights" was an utterly ridiculous movie with absurd premises. NASCAR is approaching the realm of ridiculous with such inane, stupid, announcements as this. I can't help but think the level of stupidity within the confines of the NASCAR headquarters has reached epic proportions. I am about to disassociate myself from the entire entity. Damn!

Back to Black !!! Thanks

General

Jim, PKL put up that schedule earlier this week so scroll through the Forums and you'll find it. Like you, she has spoiled me with those postings too. I have predicted Jeff Gordon will take the cup this year.

As for rainout this weekend, this morning here in Columbia would sure make me think that could happen but the race is in that place called New Hampshire. Hell, I didn't even like OLD Hampshire. As for the fuel mileage issue, it is my prediction that if one more race sufferes the "fuel mileage" situation, NASCAR will incorporate a "competition caution with 15 laps to go in all future races. Just a thought.

Jeff & Dustin - We all need HELP! Liked the old "black" background better than the new "gray"

General

Ok, Pkl, you are essentially correct, as are you Dave. My actual diagnosis is that I am "red-green color deficient" which was explained to me as being able to see and distinguish all colors and all shades of colors except for RED and GREEN. Red and Green to me are seen as red and green no matter what the shade. There is no difference in light red, dark red, or maroon. All green is just that, green, whatever shade the green flag is.

Yep, I absolutely knew what Petty Blue is/was. Remember the Petty Blue Boots Richard wore when he won the Daytona 500 in 1964? He told me they had used some shoe dye to do them. Of course, it wasn't two days later my "Petty Boots" were "Petty Blue Boots". I learned that wearing Petty Blue Boots to win the Daytona 500 was pretty cool, but wearing Petty Blue Boots as a senior at my high school was earth shaking back in 1964. That may be a subject to expand in an upcoming Legendtorial. lol Enjoy your Friday everyone!!!

I would like a purple background close to the color of Marty Robbins' Dodge Charger with Yellow lettering like Marty's Dodge had. But what the heck, I'm color blind anyway so black and white works for me.

Watered Down DW Sponsorship for Little E

General

Dave, Ann drinks diet Mountain Dew so I can't complain. I have forbidden the grandsons to have M&Ms at our house though while Reese's Pieces are welcome. Any stuffed animals bearing even remote resemblence to a certain D.W. pet are thrown under the lawn mower as I cut the back yard.
