I Saw Cotton Owens "Unretire" & Beat His Own Driver, David Pearson at Richmond in 1964

General

Cotton Owens has always been a favorite of mine. Now, in these later years when I've had so much opportunity to hang around the man and really have one-on-one conversations, I have come to appreciate, even more, what a great driver he was but even more what a great man he IS.

Trivia Question

General

Jim, you have just caused short circuits in my computer and certainly my brain (yes I do have one). I can't wait for the correct answer to this one. I am clueless.

Please read and comment

General

Ok, my opinion. I love to read so the concept is a great idea to me. But, having said that, I realize the burdenis not mine to bear. The one thing I think would make such a production OUTSTANDING is to include Ray Lamb and may Ed Sanseverino photograph in each issue. These two gentlemen have photographs that are priceless and having those in a magazine would be awesome. Better for me than on the computer. I like the idea, but, again, it is no expense to me except the subscription.

Fire at or near the NASCAR Hall of Fame

General

Better check the Head of the Charlotte Visitor's Bureau for his whereabouts at the time of the fire.

JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU HAVE SEEN IT ALL---------THIS HAPPENS

Historic Speedways and Ghost Tracks

Well, Johnny, I have seen at least five of those commercials and when I saw the first one I thought "That is MGR". Then they came by the Brixton or whatever sign on the wall and I thought "Wow, that sure looks like MGR". Then Jeff cleared it up. Those are some commercials I don't mind watching.
