Bill, thank you for your reply and pictures. You have found one with a trophy which is more than I have!
He definitely drove the 3 car in that race in 1972 as the attached pictures show.

Does anyone know where I might get any pictures printed (especially the shot with him holding the trophy) from this event? I have searched everywhere so hope someone might know someone who can help.
The car he raced there was a Plymouth Super bee, car number #3
The reason for the interest is that I have the actual trophy which I have in a glass display unit with the original program from the event, and the 1/18th scale Plymouth diecast he raced.
Some pictures from the event would finish it off nicely
