Newman Still Does Not Have to Win

Agree 100% Will. All the teams start the season off with the same NASCAR rule book. I for one am pulling for RCR and Newman. The championship should be shared by the team and I could name a crew or two who've had problems this year BUT won't.

Maybe somehow, NASCAR should award points next year based on theRaceday team of each driver and not just the driver.May or may not work but at least then the driver would have more respectfor his team members andmight support them more instead of spouting off on TV how bad the team was when mistakes happen.

Not a JJ fan, but it does happen to the best of 'em. I've experienced being dehydrated once and it was a awful feeling. Based on what I've read about JJ, it was very surprising that it happened to him.

Makes me wonder whether he drinks Pepsi or Coke at home. Just wonderin! I for one get tired of seeing todays drivers hold a Coke while being interviewed. One sip and the cap goes back on. Money comes first today. Good observation Mr. Fulton.....

Dave, Thanks for posting this. I had not heard that Franc White had passed. I remember back when my dad, brother and I watched his show every Sunday morning in Petersburg. We always enjoyed watching it. Franc White seemed so easy going on TV, he was a natural. Heck we even started using House-Autry products becuase of him. Happy New Year.......

I tried to find something out on the internet, but no luck. Sonny did win a late model race there in 1978 but I don't think it was this race. Did Jack Ingram ever run a second car for someone else? This brown car looks like an Ingram color. Just a thought.
