i remember them fining carl long i dont think it was right i think back to the kings big engine and the right side tires being on the left side i dont remember what penalty was but i dont think it was any where near 200 grand dk ulrich was caught with a large engine and was baned the remainder of the year petty kept the win and lost points
dave i like your creative ideas 25 grand to these rich drivers would have been a lot of sponsor money to people like jd mcduffie back in the day this is alot of money to people like me but like you said its just a drop in the bucket to those drivers of today
its to bad that money overrides a persons abilities those that can bring money to the table can get a ride its been that way folr a long time
