its funny it got mentioned on here - but when dale first moved to lake norman he had to get a yard service and a maid - i remember him telling me one time that owning a big house means you got big problems - then he married theresa and built one about 20,000 sq ft - i still laugh about that - interesting to see if this young marriage doesnt work out who will get the house - i bet neither of them will want it - but i do hope it works out .

reckon he wouldnt be on the carpet if he had made the chase - what is with all this cussing anyway - even ol sue patrick is dropping f bombs trying to be one of the boys - i agree some cussing goes with the sport -but these guys are over the top - maybe social media and reality tv wants it that way - he is a good driver no doubt about that - but like the song says - he aint the only one - hendrick seems to have survived without him - the inside word has it he lacks leadership .

some friends and i went to local dirt track recently - they had four divisions of just four cyclinders - eight in all i think - the late model and limited were all crate motors - in fact all v-8 divisions ran crate motors - they had a pretty good crowd - the racing started late - couldnt count the cautions - they ran the late model main last and it was after midnight when it ended - but the thing i want to know iswhat happened to all the half mile dirt tracks - in my opinion they ruined cherokee speedway - i guess lancaster is the only half mile left .

hey andy - tell you what happened to us one time - the sound went out on our tv set so we turned on the radio and watched the race - it was actually pretty good - i agree the announcing gets to be to phony sometimes .

there some good ones on here - i remember green white checkers match races in street cars - at a dirt track one time they had a greased pole climb - miss speedway beauty contests - anyone remember the boxing matches at charlotte that humpy put on - i really enjoyed those - the drivers would walk across and watch also - this was done just before qualifying back then on wed. afternoons .

dave - this is incredible i remember this car - that robert gee was the best when itcame to hanging sheet metal - hey guvner - this is awesome stuff dave - thanks so much for posting this - your right all is not what it seems to be - you guys pulled the wool on this one - the old monte carlo that dale drove for osterlund in 79 and 80 - was actually a 77 model - but dale liked it the best - said it handled better than the buicks they had - thanks again for this - im still laughing .

can you say pain - this outfit has pain - there is politics in a two person hotdog stand - well jrm has more politics than your local police dept - nobody realized brad k was going to be as good as he is - why do you want a developmental driver program when your developing them to race for another team - this is a sore spot - larry mac is right on this - the drivers they have are not getting it done and cant get it done any better - ol sue patrick is leaving at year end and taking the go daddy dollars with her - im sure stewart hass appreciates jrm for developing her - though they didnt get much - if you can read between the lines the family drama over there is a little clearer - somebody has to be the scapegoat - sponsor problems are allready there - and ol junior doesnt want to drive in the nationwide seris - cole whitt has done a good job as a rookie - but does anyone outside a hardcore race fan know who he is - i wish i could tell you what is happening - but i better keep my mouth shut .
