Pocono. The King broke his doggone neck yet managed to keep his start-streak alive. That was crazy. Thank goodness Joe Millikan was around to help relief drive at places like Bristol, Talladega, and Darlington.

I think the right front wheel broke while he was leading the eventand after boucning the wall Waltrip T Boned the car breaking Richard's neck.

Richard never missed a start. He struggled and his shot at an 8th championship was all but gone. But the King marched on. Here are a couple of post-Pocono race shots from Nashville and Pocono.
