I was there for this one. Didn't have this kind of view though. We were sitting on the backstretch as the cars headed for turn 3. I caught a glimpse of a car going over the wall - though I didn't know it was at the time. That's Richie Petty, Maurice's son, in the white 53 behind Horton. And that's Stanley Smith in the 49 who got far and away the worst injuries from The Big One that day.
