I have been impressed with the number of fans, young and old, who continue to seek out the veterans of auto racing. These veterans didn't have the advantage of media technology that exists for the drivers of today. Nor did they race for the money that is available to the stars of today. Many of these heros raced for the shear love of the sport and were retired or were nearing retirement when big money sponsors such as R.J. Reynolds came into the sport. If not for these pioneers of the sport, we would not have what we enjoy today. In an effort to create a central location for commnication and sharing of information relative to their careers ....and where they are today, RacersReunion.com , a social network, was created. It has become, as stated by one member, "A living, growing, historical document. You will find videos of recent interviews with the racing veterans of years past and thousands of photos. The site has recently launched RacersReunion Radio. The Radio page has music programming 24 hours a day with regular pre-recorded segments by veteran broadcast journalist, Jim Seay containing interviews with guys like David pearson, Dave Marcis, and Ned Jarrett. Harry Gant, Junior Johnson, Fred Lorenzen, and many more are in the works. A weekly documentary called "Racing The Way It Was" is under development.Membership to the network is free. If you like racing's roots....or if you are new to the sport and want to learn about it's history, you'll enjoy RacersReunion.com.

Great site for the young and older as well. I am excited to learn from some of the best racers this sport has to offer. Thank you, Jeff for your efforts to keep the history of this amazing sport alive! We all have a lot to learn from the great people who brought NASCAR to what it is today! What a transformation that has taken place over the last 20-50 years. I am so honored and blessed to be a part of it's great history. Thank you all for your time and dedication. Dale Dodge Jr.
