Great vintage pictures of a true legend and great lyrics to back it up! Two thumbs up on this one! My dad said he has an autographed photo of Cale when he raced at the Hillbilly 100 Dirt track in Pennsboro WV in the mid 80's He's going to try and find it. I'll post it.

love your song & video---neat lyrics and wonderful pic's. my bf's parents lived in salem on rt. 50 and he used to go to pennsboro!!! thanks for bringing up such good memories. he lived there from the 1960's thru the late 1980's. hope to hear it on the radio.

Great song, good singing Jay!I liked the TV commercial that Valvoline had with Cale and a chimp as his crew chief. Was that chimp a young Jeff Hammond??

Cale heard his song years ago when I wrote it as the title song for a CD, but he hasn't heard the new CD.

cale used to come down to curtis criders garage when he was just getting started in the grand national cars. we usually had a few beers and enjoyed the day. always liked cale
