DAYTON, OH-June 17-John Vallo aced his third win in a row Sunday in the Late Model division at Greater Dayton Speedway.The work was hard for Vallo and his crew, however as during an earlier hot lap session, Vallo crashed the car into the first turn guard rail and caught on fire. Vallo was not injured. Vallo started 10th in the main event, but was able to take the lead on lap seven.
During the feature race, Larry Gorman crashed his car through the guard rail and the car landed at the base of the track's outer banking. Gorman was shaken, but uninjured.
Rounding ot the top seven in the Late Model feature behind Vallo were Bobby Davis, Don Seaborn, Buster Blackford, Dick Lugenbeel, Dick Debolt and Denny Dean.
