Do you remember when Jr. Crouch had that electric fuel pump at Asheville and got burnt real bad ?

I remember Junior was running at Charlotte in the late 70's (77-79) in the World Service life 300 and wss involved in an accident that caused him to lose an arm the left one if i remember right, i think it got caught up in the window net and I remember that supposedly the net was not installed correctly, i am pretty sure about that because i questioned why didn't tech inspectors pick it up?
