july 1970 issue of southern racing circuit
This magazine wa sold at local tracks in NC and SC at tracks such as . I bought mine at Wilson county speedway.It mentioned some track that I had not thought of in a long time such as Jet motor speedway on Stem NC, Leland down near Wilmington, Kinston in NC and Little River and Orangeburg in SC.
This is something special,I guess I didn't have an extra 75cents but I do remember selling papers at the tracks.Thank you.
Yup, I bought mine at Leland and Little River........I remember this copy (early 1970) the publication was beginning to focus on drag racing. The caption to the (drag) photo was "more drags next month........" In the upper photo, it could be Archie Adams, Sr. on the pole of a modified race....that's Coy Blue #99 lined up 3rd on the outside.
