Paul, do you have this magazine? It was formerly known as the "Carolina Dirt Track Circuit" published by Brenda Simmons of Simmons Racing specialties, Fayetteville, NC. It was published quarterly (I think) and I once had about all the issues. That was then, this is now! LOL!! Its focus was primarily the eastern Carolinas dirt track racing, but they add drag racing coverage in 1970, and that was about the latest that I remember them. I have tried to locate this group, renently, without success.Your're right, the #1 coupe is Archie Adams of Bennettsville, SC, the #5 was a 6 cylinder modifed owned by David Frink of Chadbourn, NC with various drivers: Charles Guyton, Bennie Todd, Jule Williamson, the #99 sedan was driven by Coy Blue. Modified around the Fayetteville/Dillon areas were allowed to run V8 engines, as seen in the Archie Adams photo, while those at the coast, Leland, Little River, Myrtle Beach, ran 6 cylinders (evident in the #5 photo).
