Here's a racecar that to this day defies logic..This Monte Carlo built by Charlie Binkley(also,Binkley Brothers) won something like 60/75 races at 4 different tracks..A full factory frame MC with a 302 Chevy engine in it.Bobby Hamilton was a unknown before Charlie Binkley put him in this car,and the rest is what they say "is history"..BTW,the owner of this car has it sitting on jack stands in a garage, as last raced, (1987) by Bobby Hamilton~

Robert, this car was first driven by Charlie's nephew Gary Binkley..Gary won at HRS,and Whitesville Kentucky, while beating great driver's likeDavid and Jeff Green at their home track..I remember they drove Budweiser sponsored ars and raced on 19 inch tires and 4barrel carbs, while the 1# car had 8 inch, and a 2 barrel carb.(1983)-In 1984,Bobby Hamilton got to drive it,and continued winning at HRS,Hunstville, but not until late1984 did he racedat Nashville FairgroundsSpeedway..Nashville's flat track is totally different 1/4 mile, than others I mentioned, however it broke the track record the first night it raced at Nashville..Bobby Hamilton gained his glory and the attention, whileracing this car,and clearly was his BIGGEST brake he ever recieved in racing..Thanks for asking,Robert~
