Jean Guy Chartrand at the wheel of what I believe to be the first of the many infamous "Hemi Cuda" #69 cars. The first time I saw this car was at Albany/Saratoga Speedway in Malta, NY. and every time Chartrand exited turns 2 and 4, the tires went up in smoke the entire length of the straightaway. This was a time of "Bring as much as you can afford and hope you brought enough" in the horse power department. This car boasted an over bored, Hilborn alcohol injected 426 Chrysler Hemi that had gobbs of go and not so much whoa. Check out that front bumper. BTW, you could close your eyes and from the sound alone you would know where that Hemi Cuda was on the track. Sweet.
