this wreck came in the 1964 daytona modified-sportsman race. lee roy's car was struck during a multicar accident on the front stretch. he was knocked out cold and had to be removed from the car which began burning. larry frank and fred lorenzen were among a group of men who ran to lee roy's aid even as cars were still wrecking. it was reported that frank yanked yarbrough from the car. i
