My dad, Jimmy Ingram, and Number 12, his most favorite race car ever. He kept this car - and he got it running again in the 1990s sometime - amazing, given that he was racing this car in the later 40s and early 50s. The car is in Wallace now. It lives with the Leviner boys, sons of James "Ironhead" Leviner - who raced and played with Daddy for years. They had a thrill show once, where they jumped the cars through a ring of fire. Seatbelts were a length of chain - and that's why Ironhead always limped - the car hit hard one night, and that chain broke some bones - pelvis or hip, I think.
