Cool old memory. I watched Mike Alexander drive his original #84 late model at Nashville Speedway as a kid. He took it over from another guy who was pretty good in the car and on that track - Darrell Waltrip. Some 30 years later, I met Mike last spring at a church service project & spent the better part of a day working side-by-side and talking racing.

How is Mike doing now? I remember he had that injury.

Is doing well. Looks about the same as he did then except he has gray hair and mustache. And helps his son Clay with his own late model career in the southeast.
