Before he was eliminated with engine problems in this race, Jim Paschal in the #14 Friedkin Enterprises Plymouth and Cale in the Banjo Matthews Ford above engaged in several of the best side-by-side battles for the lead in the 1966 Peach Blossom 500 at Rockingham that I have ever seen at any racetrack in any series.
