Red Farmer 1990 ARCA Daytona race
Car belonged to Marvin Ragan (David's uncle) from Unadilla, Ga. Former Robert Yates car that was driven by Davey Allison. The car driven by Davey was involved in a crash between Davey and Geoff Bodine resulting in Davey doing a slow roll over at the Daytona 500 in 1989. Davey went on to finish 25th in the wrecked car.
I remember that 1989 race when this car rolled coming off the second turn. I had a scanner, and Davey mentioned Bodine and said, "Robert, you'd better keep me away from that little (expletive deleted) when this is over." When Yates wanted to know what kind of shape the car was in, Davey said, "It ain't hurt much - I only rolled it over twice."
