FLORIDA 200 TANK TOP '75
In the history of NASCAR, only one official NASCAR race, was held in Tampa. It was on November 11, 1962 @ Golden Gate Speedway, a DIRT track, at the time. The race was a 200 lap event, won by Richard Petty. Later, it was paved, and after that, the history of this 200 lap race began, and it ran through the '60s and early '70s. It was known as the famous FLORIDA 200 Late Model race. This tank top was sold @ the event in the 1975-76 era. It was framed by a friend of mine, who WORE this tank top over forty yrs. ago, and has done ALL of my framing over the last 10 yrs. She is Lou Baird, owner of Baird.s Custom Framing in Dover, Fla.
