Buddy Arrington was the only driver on the Winston Cup circuit who refused to display our 7-Eleven Miles Leader Award contingency decal. When I asked him about it in the Atlanta garage his reasoning was, "I'll never win the award so why should I give your company free advertising?" Sometimes drivers can cut off their noses to spite their faces and then wonder why the "breaks" never come their way.
