Congratulations to Marcos Ambrose and Richard Petty Motorsports for the victory yesterday at The Glen. Marcos had won three times there in Nationwide but a win in the Cup series has eluded him for 104 previous starts. It was absolutely fantastic to see Dale Inman in Victory Lane again. Last week I talked about how a Disney makeup artist took thirty years off my appearance in 30 minutes, but from what I saw of Dale Inman, that one victory took 50 years off his face. I don’t remember what Inman looked like that first night a Columbia Speedway in 1958, but I’m thinking it was about the same as he looked yesterday. Now we need to get that number 43 back in Victory Lane soon.
