This week, we look at the career of one of Georgia's great Open Wheel racers over at
Georgia Racing History.com .
Georgia's Herman Wise was a southern boy who traveled north to take on the Sprint Car greats. He not only faced off against them he won - and won often. He was also a terror in Super Modifieds across Georgia and the rest of the Southeast.
This week, Mike Bell tells us the story of a Southeast Sprinter, Herman Wise, over at
Georgia Racing History.com .
In other news, Gresham Motorsports Park reminds us of the days when racers would compete mid-week by slating Wednesday night races over the next several weeks. Much like the old days when drivers would race several times a week at tracks like Athens Speedway, Banks County Speedway, Toccoa Speedway and the Peach Bowl, racers will get a chance to compete mid-week.
