Good afternoon to you all.
Thank you all for posting your thoughts and memories of Mr. Raymond Parks here at Racer's Reunion, and thanks to Jeff for making sure the news got out. I spoke with Jeff late Sunday morning just as he was getting the information ready. He and everyone here does such a great job in helping keep our racing history alive, and you folks have always been such great supporters of Mr. Parks and the place he holds in our racing history.
Mr. Parks was a huge part of our racing heritage, not just here in his home state. His influence helped mold an entire empire, and served as an inspiration for many racers, car owners and track promoters all over the country.
Today we take time to remember Mr. Parks, who turned 96 years of age back on June 5. You can read our remembrance of him at

Service plans for Mr. Parks have yet to be announced. We'll share them as they become available. Please keep his wife, Violet, and his other family members and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you all.
